Chess Association of Western Australia

2007 Junior Interclub Competition

Played at Legacy House, South Perth on 18 November

This event was held at Legacy House on November 18th and was run by Jack South and Haydn Barber.

16 teams competed and were divided into 2 qualifying groups, with the Group winners playing off for A Grade, the Group second place teams playing off for B Grade, and the Group third place teams playing off for C Grade. This was done because of the small number of entries for A and B Grade. Unfortunately, due to a very late withdrawal, we ended up with one group of 9 teams and one of 7 teams.

The qualifying group results are as follows (game points are in brackets):

Group A Group B

The Independants 18 (34½) Seton A 14 (26½)
Midland Christian	15 (29) Boards Lords	12 (22½)
Awesome Foursome	15 (28) Bassendean 9 (17)
