2015 WA Grand Prix

Report by David Ellis:

The Perth Open, the Gufeld Cup, the South West Open, the Kingsley Open, the Willetton Open and the Christmas Open comprised the six 2015 WA Grand Prix Tournaments. Points are determined by final standings after each event. Winner scores 12pts, 2nd 10pts, 3rd 8pts, 4th 7 pts, 5th 6 pts, 6th 5pts, 7th 4pts, 8th 3pts, with other contestants allocated 2 pts for participation. Ratings are taken from December 2014. While a player may win more than one title, he/she may only win one monetary prize. Numbers were down this year, averaging 18 players per tournament. Thanks are due to Norbert Muller, Gordon Dunlop and Andrew Hardegen for acting as DOPs for the Grand Prix.
