2017 South West Open

The 2017 event was held in Boyup Brook over the weekend of 17th and 18th June. There were a few local attractions including a significant Beetle and Butterfly collection in the town. Many participants joined in a dinner on Saturday night at a local café to celebrate their wins. Discussion occurred about future locations for the event and prospects of it being held in Albany in March 2018 and Busselton or Margaret River in future years were considered.

U/1600: 1st: Steven Wood & Mick Nairn, 2nd: John Bamfield, Paul Mosely & John Prince

On Sunday night a Lightning tournament was held. There were 6 participants. The winner was Marc Vlietstra and runner up Gordon Dunlop.

The tournament ran smoothly and thank you to those that helped with organization and packing up at the end of the event.
