The 2025 WA Open Chess Championships was played from the 30th May to the 2nd of June at Perth Chess Club (North Woodvale Primary School). A special thank you to Tim Hare (equipment and for arranging best game prizes), Rob Maris (for travelling in to open and secure the venue on the first and last evenings), Hui Huang (for the great photos) and not least, to Dennis Holland, for his many hours of attentive and unwavering work as part of the arbitering team.
